What does the term "metaphysical conceit" mean? What does it refer to?

conceit means juxtapositioning 2 different objects or images or ideas..this one appeals to our senses but metaphysical one is using 2 very very different subjects together.it appeals to only our intellects.for example in john donne's "death be not proud" he is comparing SLEEP and DEATH.like this..
