Why is Marilyn Manson so popular?

Why are teens and young people attracted to his infamy,his demonic lyrics and music.Everything about him tends to create negativity,hopelessness.He clearly supports the destruction and deprivation of everything sacred and cherished in life.Does anyone else here think they should ban him from the radio and media.He seems like a nightmarish reincarnation of Hitler.
