Best kind of dog food for a jack-malt?

my jack-malt is a healthy, 1 year old pup. he doesnt like his dog food unless i hand-feed it to him or make it exciting by touching it or putting a couple sardines in it. what is a great tasting, healthy type of dog food that i can feed Charlie?
