I have a JVC Camcorder GZ-MG630SU and can not get it to run on Windows 7. It ran fine on Vista.?

I ran the compatibility program and the Everio Browser improved, in so, that it comes up in the right format and seems to work if it had files. My problem : The camcorder screen comes up to say that their is no power or the USB does not reconize the recorder? I beileve it to be the the USB.
