Why doesn't Phineas and Ferb never go to school?

The show is during summer vacation, so they don't go to school. When it's winter, they're on Christmas vacation. And, this show is based on 'seizing the day', so they wouldn't have Phineas and Ferb in school cause that would just be pointless and wouldn't show them making inventions everyday.
