Ihad my bathtub faucet replaced but the hot water is not hot .it is a replacement cartgage for a scald guard?

Steve's right. When you remove the hot handle you will see a limiter on the shaft, just pull it off and make the adjustment by reinstalling it so your hot faucet will open more. DON'T FORGET TO PUT THE STOPPER IN THE DRAIN FIRST
