How to deal with boyfriend's friend?

Hey so my boyfriend was friends with this freeloader. He owes my boyfriend money, but since he's a lazy piece of sh*t and my boyfriend was too blind to see it and felt sorry for the guy, he gave him his fouton bed, water source bag, and lent him money. 2 months ago the freeloader borrowed my wii controllers and games while I was out of town and my boyfriend was stupid enough to lend it to him. Well he still has them and I'm tired of dealing with the freeloader, he doesn't answer phone calls, texts, or facebook messages from my boyfriend asking him to pay back and return my stuff. I've told my boyfriend about how I felt about this guy, but he gave the guy benefit of the doubt after a few times before that he freeloaded us. In short term, my bf is nicer than me. I mean c'mon, the guy has a history, his ex-wife even stabbed him before, that's proof enough that something is seriously wrong with him. Anyway my wii stuff that the guy has is worth around $70 and he owes my bf about $100. I'm sick of having to deal with the mofo, he has moved so we don't even know exactly where he lives. My bf has an idea but can't get a hold of him. Should we just let this go? What would you do in my situation? Should I message the freeloader's fiance? Btw my bf finally learned this guy can't ever be trusted after he lent him MY STUFF without asking me first.
